Why We Need Springhouse

Springhouse is more than just a school. Springhouse is a safe place to explore what it means to live in uncertainty and the unknown. Living in a world that is shifting and constantly changing, we’re all experiencing uncharted territory. In connecting to the Springhouse community, all ages engage in learning to navigate uncertainty and perhaps even welcome the unknown.

Exploring uncharted areas of our lives requires a dive deeper than the status quo. It requires “a new foundation in readiness” as shared in a recent article on GettingSmart.com:

“Putting social-emotional skill development at the center of learning promises to help individuals develop the foundation necessary to navigate uncertainty throughout their lives.”

To nurture our ability to face what is happening around us, we must learn and grow closer to ourselves and be open to the mystery that dwells within. Springhouse is a community container for walking with and supporting people in all stages of the journey into the unknown.

Springhouse Community School welcomes all to this beautiful passage of uncertainty.
